The start-up Valory has won the national finals of the Flex Innovation Fund (FIF). The FIF is an initiative of several key parties in the labor market to stimulate innovation. A well-established jury of successful entrepreneurs and companies such as Randstad, FS Group, ABU, ABN AMRO and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs elected Valory for the most innovative business plan within the flex market.
Valory is an online network that enables companies to hire independent brainpower of scientists in order to optimize their organizational processes. It offers a solution to transfer the innovative knowledge of scientists in an efficient way to companies. Valory enhances the economic and social value of science and claims to have the best solution to the challenge of valorization (knowledge transfer between society and universities).
In June 2015 Valory’s online platform will be launched and companies will be able to subscribe and get access to the innovative knowledge of more than 1.000 scientific experts. Scientific experts can already sign up for the network of Valory. "This is a huge boost to our business. The recognition of the well-established judges that saw the international potential for us is great", says the founder Arian Oosthoek.
The chairman of the jury, Ed van Vliegen gave Valory a cheque with a value of 79,000 euros. The winner of the second prize was FlipBase and the third prize went to Victor Mundi.
